chicken xacuti recipe:

Chicken Xacuti / Shaguti are the version cooked in Hindu Brahmin houses in Goa. This dish is likewise known as Chicken Xacuti and has its roots prompted by way of Goan cuisine

This recipe is from a completely near friend's Mum who hails from Siolim, Goa. My favorite Chicken recipes are Chicken Shaguti, Chicken Cafreal and Kori Rotti. I enjoyed this style of chicken cooked in highly spiced gravy.

Chicken Xacuti Recipe Ingredients:


·        Chicken (Dark Boneless Meat) - 3 lbs.
·        Goan Garam Masala - 1 tbsp
·        Indian Bay Leaf - 2
·        Coconut milk - 1/three cup
·        Turmeric powder - three tbsp

Chicken Xacuti Recipe Method:


Chicken in Marinade –
1.     Clean and trim the bird of any extra fat.
2.     Wash and pat dry.
3.     Cut each piece to two" chunks and add to a mixing bowl.
4.     Crush ginger and green chillies more or less and add to the chicken.
5.     Do no longer make a mushy paste simply weigh down them more or less.
