Ingredients for patra recipe:


For The Besan combination
Bengal gram flour (besan) – 2 1/2 cups
Ginger-green chili paste – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Chili powder – 1 Tsp
Asafetida – 1/2 Tsp
Grated Jaggery – 3/4 cup
Tamarind pulp – 3 tbsp
Oil – 1 Tsp
salt to taste

  1. Take a bowl and combine all the ingredients mentioned for Besan mixture – add approx 1 cup of water and mix carefully till the Jaggery melts. Mix till there are no lumps.
  2. Clean all the colocasia leaves and dried out using a kitchen wipe.
  3. Remove the veins using a sharp knife which is here at the bottom of the leaf.
  4. Now, place the leaf upside down and apply a thin layer of besan fusion and increase it using your fingers.
  5. Now place one more leaf on it and apply a thin cover again.

Pazham Pori snack is the usual street item in Kerala and one of the fastest and warm promoting snacks in trains. This snack is regularly fried in a maximum of the homes and relished via all alongside a cup of hot tea or coffee. It's also a very tasty, fast and smooth to make.

Ingredients:
  • Ripe Nendran bananas -2 (peeled)
  • Water – ½ cup
  • Maida (all-motive flour) – 3/4cup
  • Rice Flour – ¼ cup

Method:
  1. Cut every banana into three pieces, lengthwise.
  2. Make a thick batter with both the flours and ½ cup water. Add sugar, yellow shade and bicarbonate of soda.
  3. Dip the banana slices within the batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  4. Drain off the additional oil and provide hot.

Aloo bhujia is made with mashed potatoes and gram flour together with some spices. They taste so crunchy and attractive.

Aloo Bhujia Recipe Ingredients:


•           Boiled potato-3
•           Gram flour-one hundred gm
•           Turmeric powder-1/3 tsp

Goli Baje Recipe Ingredients:

Maida / all reason flour – 2 cups
Ginger, finely chopped – 1 inch
Grated / chopped clean coconut – 2 tbsp
Green chilies, finely chopped – 2
Curry leaves – 10
Curd/yogurt – 1 cup
Baking soda – ½ tsp
Pinch of Hing / asafetida
Salt to flavor

Goli Baje Recipe Procedure:


At the outset take a deep mixing bowl, upload finely chopped chili, curry leaves, ginger, coriander leaves and additionally grated coconut and a pinch of Hing.
To this upload 1 cup of curd, salt, and baking soda.
Now, add maida and mix nicely to form a smooth batter.
Make positive must be elastic as properly in dropping consistency.
Rest this batter for about 2-3 hours.
Now, take a deep frying pan, add oil to deep fry.
Drop the batter into the oil in lemon length.
Fry until golden brown in low flame.

Godhumai Appam Sweet Recipe Ingredients:

Wheat Flour

1 cup
Rice Flour

1 tbsp
Grated Coconut

2 tbsp
Cardamom powder

of 1 pod
Baking Soda
-
A pinch
Salt
-
A big pinch
Jaggery
-
½ - ¾ cup
Banana
-
½ cup mashed (nearly 4 small bananas)
Water
-
As required

Godhumai Appam Sweet Recipe Method


1. Take the jaggery in a pan and add little water, just to immerse it. Heat it over the low flame so that the jaggery dissolves completely. Filter it to remove any impurities and keep aside. Allow it to cool
