Ingredients:


  • Freshwater fish (Tangra on this recipe): 13
  • Potato (medium-sized; reduce into 10 pieces lengthwise): 1
  • Bay leaves (small): 2
  • Finely chopped onions: ¾ cup
  • Cumin powder: 1.Five tsp
  • Turmeric powder (divided): 1 tsp (for marination and broth)
  • Salt (divided): 2 tsp
  • Mustard oil: 4 tbsp
  • Whole inexperienced chilies: five
  • Warm water: Enough to just submerge the fishes


Method:


  1. Wash the fish thoroughly. Make a split at the neck. Take away the gills from the head and slowly pull out the blackish thread from the stomach. Wash the fish once more. Discard the fins if you wish.
  2. Marinate the fish with ¾ tsp salt and half the turmeric powder. Keep aside for 20 min.

Even after a full meal, Bengali humans never say no to plateful of mutton kosha! There is nothing incorrect considering, this recipe is sinfully tasty!  So, observe the recipe and treat yourself on this 'sin'!


Mutton Kosha Ingredients –


Mutton - 750 gm
Raw papaya paste - 150 gm (for tenderizer)
Onion paste - two hundred gm
Garlic paste - 2 tsp
Ginger paste - 1 tsp

How to make Mutton Kosha –


Step 1:

Mutton isn't always smooth like hen. So marinate the beef with tenderizer for six-7 hrs earlier than cooking. Here, I used uncooked papaya paste to smooth the mutton.

Step 2:

After 6-7 hours of tenderizing, marinate the beef with onion paste, garlic paste, ginger paste, crimson chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala powder, undeniable yogurt, mustard oil. Mix these kinds of together and keep marinated for an hour.
